NEDA Walk with Team Pointerwife
For the past while, we’ve been helping to raise some money for the National Eating Disorder Association, or NEDA for short. The association raises money for therapy and outreach dedicated to those that have suffered from eating disorders, including anorexia, binge eating disorder, and more.
The NEDA hosts walks to raise funds and awareness, and the best part about that is that a walk is happening right here in Potsdam!
Our “Pointerwife”, Bridget, has been making a huge push for this event, and has also been the largest source of donations. If you want to help, she’s the captain of “Team Pointerwife!”
If you can attend the walk, you can register to participate for a small donation (fees vary depending on student status/age). If you can’t attend the walk, you can feel free to just donate!
The walk takes place this Saturday, May 6th. Check in starts at 9am, opening ceremonies are at 10am, and the walk will at at 11am.
